In order to build a business platform for exchanges between Chinese and Russian enterprises, promote trade, seek common development, and help more high-quality Russian products enter the Chinese market, Mr. Qi Yilong, President of Guangdong Imported Food Association, visited the Russian Far East Investment and Export Promotion Agency upon invitation on November 22.
During the meeting, the Russian representative mentioned that Russian companies are very interested in the Chinese market. Russian local seafood, shrimp, water, dairy products, soy, and sweet products are of high quality, and are very suitable for the Chinese market. Therefore, they hoped to strengthen cooperation with IFA to bring more high quality Russian food to South China.
President Qi then briefly introduced the Russian side to the current situation of IFA and put forward some useful suggestions after making an introduction and analysis on the present situation of Russian food entering the Chinese market.
In addition, the two sides exchanged views on the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement, the co-hosting of business matching and food tasting meeting, and the organizing of a delegation to participate in next year's Food2China Expo. It is hoped that both sides can further strengthen in-depth cooperation in the field of food in the future and promote economic and trade development between China and Russia.
