Our association organized a VIP buyer delegation to visit HOFEX2025.
On May 14, HOFEX2025, Asia's premier international food and beverage and hospitality equipment exhibition, opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Guangdong Imported Food Association (hereinafter referred to as IFA) organized a delegation of nearly 50 buyer representatives from 30 high-quality member companies to visit the exhibition.

As one of the most influential foodservice and hospitality equipment exhibitions in Asia, HOFEX2025 covers the entire industry chain, focusing on food innovation, technological advancement, and sustainable development, providing a one-stop trade platform for the global catering and hospitality industries. Hosted by Informa Markets Asia, the exhibition has a history of 38 years and serves as an important gateway for enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to access international markets. This year’s edition runs for three days, featuring over 2,000 exhibitors and brands from more than 28 countries and regions, and is expected to attract over 24,000 visitors.

Spanning 12 exhibition halls, the fair hosts more than 600 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions. It includes eight specialized zones such as the Food & Beverage Zone, Bakery & Desserts Zone, International Wines & Spirits Zone, Kitchen Equipment & Catering Supplies Zone, and Food Packaging Zone, among others.
To enable buyers to gain more direct and convenient insights into products, and to help manufacturers better meet the procurement needs of imported food traders, distributors, and related businesses, the Association conducted pre-event surveys and consultations to match buyers with carefully selected exhibitors for in-depth business discussions. During the exhibition, each buyer proactively fulfilled their negotiation tasks, establishing contact with new suppliers and resource partners, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

IFA boasts extensive resources among importers in South China. Moving forward, the Association will continue and expand its international study tours and business matching events, reconnecting face-to-face with suppliers, buyers, and partners around the world — bridging global connections and bringing global flavors to China.
