On December 28, 2025, Hong Kong’s renowned “A Yi Abalone” officially announced its arrival at Olé Boutique Supermarket, hosting a unique new product launch on-site and treating mainland food lovers to a luxurious feast for the senses.

Brand Story

1984 marked the beginning of the legendary tale of “A Yi Abalone.” Under the masterful craftsmanship of International Imperial Chef Yang Guanyi, the brand rose swiftly in Hong Kong’s high-end dining scene by adhering to extremely strict selection criteria for abalone — from origin, variety, to growing environment — with every detail meticulously controlled. Combined with his unique, closely guarded cooking techniques, “A Yi Abalone” became a symbol of luxury cuisine and a coveted dish for gourmets.

In 2005, Master Yang Guanyi joined forces with Ms. Liu Zheyu. With their keen insight into market changes and relentless pursuit of culinary art, they broke through the traditional limits of abalone preparation and consumption, pioneering ready-to-eat abalone products and establishing the “A Yi” food brand. Now, on the 40th anniversary of the brand’s founding — a landmark moment — and to commemorate Master Yang Guanyi’s receipt of the C.C.C. Gold Medal from the International Academy of Gastronomy (an honor awarded to only three people worldwide, and the only Chinese recipient), “A Yi Abalone” has been elegantly upgraded in the mainland to “Gold Medal A Yi Abalone.” This is not only a solemn tribute to the brand’s history but also a powerful declaration of its future ambitions. Carrying greater responsibility and expectation, “Gold Medal A Yi Abalone” steps into a brilliant new chapter.
