Spring sets the prelude, and all things thrive together.

On March 13, 2026, the "Beyond Boundaries · Exquisite Flavours" Anniversary of the Shenzhen Office of Guangdong Importers Association & 2026 Spring Reception came to a splendid conclusion in Shenzhen.

The event brought together more than 200 industry elites, including representatives from 7 consulates and government agencies, as well as leaders of 15 friendly chambers of commerce and industry associations, to witness this grand spring gathering for professionals in the imported food sector.

During the gala dinner, Mr. Qi Yilong, President of Guangdong Importers Association, and Ms. Xu Xiya, Executive President of its Shenzhen Office, took the stage together. They were joined by Mr. Gonzalo Rubilar, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Chile in Guangzhou, as well as representatives from three vice-president units of IFA Shenzhen.

All guests raised their glasses in a collective toast. Standing side by side, Chinese and international delegates witnessed a moment illuminated by dazzling lights, reflecting a future of openness, collaboration and win-win cooperation for the imported food industry.

The neatly arranged booths of 18 member enterprises formed a mini “World Food Expo.”

From Australian Wagyu beef and Italian wines to Southeast Asian sauces and condiments, the wide array of imported food and beverages attracted numerous guests to stop and visit.

When Australian Wagyu Meets Chilean Wines

While the excitement of the outdoor showcase was still going strong, an insightful food-and-wine pairing masterclass kicked off indoors.

The themed sponsor, Shenzhen Baomeirui Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., presented its star products:Selected U.S. boneless short ribs, premium Russian chicken mid-joint wings, and Australian Wagyu beef patties.Featuring exquisite marbling resembling frost, these products deliver rich, indulgent aromas and exceptional tenderness with every bite.The perfect pairing was Ancora Red Wine from Viña Offen Chile — a full-bodied South American wine with refined tannins and intense fruit notes, creating a wonderful sensory harmony with the rich, marbled Wagyu.

We were honored to have Mr. Jay Leung, a senior meat consultant, share insights on beef marbling grades and processing techniques.Distinguished wine educator Mr. Oliver Zou introduced the craftsmanship of Viña Offen and its dedication to organic wines.Through comparative tasting, guests experienced firsthand that the same cut of beef can reveal distinctly different flavor layers when paired with different wines.

As night fell with splendid lights illuminating the venue, the "Beyond Boundaries Gala Dinner" officially commenced.

Ms. Xu Xiya, Executive President of the Shenzhen Office of Guangdong Importers Association, took the stage to deliver a speech.

She first extended her sincere gratitude to all distinguished guests, member enterprises, and sponsors, and reviewed the office’s achievements over the past year.
