2018 Siberian Economic Forum in Novosibirsk
On November 21st – 25th, 2018, Guangdong Imported Food Association was invited to organize a group of professional buyers to take part in the 2018 Siberian Economic Forum in Novosibirsk, Russia, to have in-depth contact with local food manufacturers and promote economy and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia.
The main objective of the Siberian Economic Forum, a business platform for Asian countries and Russian participants in international trade, is to strengthen business links between enterprises in China, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Russia, and to develop the local economy. It now has obtained the support of the Novosibirsk Oblast government, Economic Development Department of the Novosibirsk Oblast, the Novosibirsk City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian SME Support Agency and many other institutions.
This docking has a wide range of products, including vodka, wine, draft beer, ice cream, candy, chocolate, cookies, cereals, sausage, honey, flower seed oil, sesame oil, corn oil, health foods and so on. In addition, as the only partner of the Siberian Economic Forum in South China, the quality of the buyers invited by Guangdong Imported Food Association was highly praised by the forum sponsor. The sponsor later said that they would organize Russian enterprises to attend the FOOD2CHINA Expo in Guangzhou next year so as to further strengthen business cooperation with Chinese enterprises, especially importers in south China.
