中国新加坡商会代表到访我会

Last week, Deputy Secretary-General Wency Tan and Athena Lai from Public Relations Department of IFA warmly received the Vice-President Joyce Li, her colleagues and members from The Singapore Chamber of Commerce & Industry In China. Both parties discussed the development trend of imported food in China.

上周，我会副秘书长谭雯意女士和外联部代表赖可晴女士热情接待了中国新加坡商会副会长李懿静女士一行，双方就进口食品的发展走势进行了深入的交流。

While visiting the Food2China Trading Center, Ms. Tan introduced the Food2China one-stop service and the different functions of the center such as promotion and display, office place, conference and activities, catering and supporting services etc,. The representatives of The Singapore Chamber of Commerce & Industry In China highly appreciated the Food2China Trading Center and Food2China one-stop service, and were looking forward to the cooperation in the future.

在谭副秘书长的陪同下，中国新加坡商会代表一行参观了广州（中国）进口食品交易中心（以下简称“交易中心”）并了解了Food2China一站式服务，表示对我会提供的专业服务表示认可，并十分期待未来双方的紧密合作。

China and ASEAN are each other's largest trading partner. Up to now, nearly 1,500 kinds of agricultural and food products from the ten ASEAN countries have been exported to China. In recent years, food imports from ASEAN countries have grown year after year, with a growth of 41.7% from January to August this year.

中国与东盟互为第一大贸易伙伴，据统计，截至目前，东盟十国的近1500种农产品、食品已实现对华出口。近年来，自东盟国家进口的食品实现连年增长，今年1至8月同比增长41.7%。

As a member of ASEAN, Singapore is also an important trading partner of China. In 2020, Singapore ranked first in both China's direct investment in ASEAN countries and actual investment from ASEAN countries in China. According to statistics, snack foods and frozen products from Singapore are the most popular among Chinese consumers.

新加坡作为东盟的一大成员国，同样也是中国的友好贸易伙伴。2020年，在中国对东盟国家直接投资中和东盟国家对华实际投资中，新加坡居于第一位。据统计，在食品领域，新加坡的休闲零食以及冷冻产品最受中国消费者的欢迎。

The representatives of The Singapore Chamber of Commerce & Industry In China is willing to strengthen the cooperation with IFA&F2C team in the future. At present, both parties discussed the implementation of building an online platform to promote foods in ASEAN countries. In addition, both parties have reached preliminary consensus on matching Singapore and other ASEAN countries’ exporters and domestic importers, aiming to bring more food and promote the exotic culture from Singapore and other ASEAN countries to China.

因此，在这样的良好背景下，商会代表期待在未来能够加强与协会&F2C团队的友好合作。目前，双方就如何推进东盟国家食品线上平台的实施、落地和推广进行了探讨，并且已在对接新加坡及东盟国家出口商和国内进口商方面达成了初步共识，旨在将更多的新加坡及其它东盟国家美食和文化带到中国，共同推动东盟食品在中国华南地区乃至全中国的发展。

In the future, we will continue to cooperate with foreign chambers of commerce in Guangzhou to bring more high-quality foreign food to South China and promote the in-depth development of the imported food industry.

未来，我们将会继续与各国驻穗商会开展广泛合作，将更多优质的外国食品带到华南地区，促进进口食品行业的深入发展。
